I have grown to love Marcottes! It feels comfortable and down to earth. The girls (sisters/family) that own the place do a great job. The food is good an reasonably priced. The crowd varies depending on the night, but always a good friendly mix. They host, Bar Bingo (free), trivia night, karaoke, and seasonal events. It can be crazy / off once and a great while, but what place can't? At least you don't have to climb a corporate latter to get an answer, resolve, or make a suggestion. Give it a try, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Small low class bar full of underage looking people. I was propositioned at the bar by a hooker. That does not happen much these days. They place was dirty and they needed way more people working when it gets crowded. There is like no parking as well.

I've been going to Marcottes since they opened & I have NO complaints. The food ROCKS, the employees are AWESOME & I always see friendly faces. I recommend everyone gives them a try. You'll definitely come back for more! :)

Great place! Good staff. Sometimes the blond haired bartender can be slow but she's nice. When the parking lot is filled you can park at Aldi's next door so I'm not sure why the reviewer below said there was no parking. The food is way way above average bar food. I believe the one owner was owns a catering company also so I think she takes the food very seriously. I did hear she was also on a cooking competition show once. There was once a steak deal where if you bought one steak dinner get another for free. It was ridiculously good and for like $20 we got two full course meals. I told my buddy enjoy cause there's no way they could do this all the time haha. Cheers!

They have a new waitress that is absolutely the worst. We had a group of 15 sitting on the patio and I had to go and ask if they had service out there? Refills? Forget about it. I asked 3 times. She kept coming out empty handed and everyone was ready to walk. Then I ordered a pizza. New on the menu. After a half hour she told me that it would be another 2 minutes. 20 minutes later she brings me a cold pie. Are you kidding me? WTF!

Food was good, service was good. Including us, there were no more than a dozen people in the bar and they were completely hammered at 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Just makes you wonder what "You're cut off!" means to wait/bar staff at this bar. I hope those guys were within walking distance or DUI's were probably had by all!

My husband and I went with a $25 restaurant.com coupon. It was hard for the two of us to get to the $35 min food tab, but we just ordered stuff we can bring home and re-heat. The hearty baked potato soup was delicious. And their loaded potato fries are the right amount of loaded! We also ordered the Italiano sandwich and the Veggie Haven salad, but those were to go. It was a bit load, but it's a sports bar, so sort of to be expected. Glad to find another local place we enjoyed. Hope to go back soon.

It's really a dive bar. I'm giving it two stars rather than one because I have friends who go there regularly, so there's a guilt factor. Parking is extremely limited. Most people park across the street at Aldi's but there is a tow sign which always makes me nervous.

This is a small, family owned neighborhood bar. The people are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. The food is average but this is a bar. There's a patio out front but it's right on Cicero Ave. so the road nose can be a bit distracting. Small parking lot but you can park across the street in Aldi with no worries.

We went to Marcotte's on New Year's Eve and had a great time. They had great drink specials, complimentary appetizers, and a diverse mix of patrons. 6 people in our group drank for several hours and the tab came out to $110
